………………………………….Saint Mary Faustina Kowalska,,,,,

, ,,,,,,DIARY,The Divine Mercy………………… ………

….Its author, Blessed (Saint) Maria Faustina of the Blessed Sacrament, of the Congregation of the Mother of God of Mercy, of Krakow, Poland, wrote it by order of her Spiritual Director, Rev. Father Miguel Sopocko, also wanting to fulfill and obey the will of Jesus: My daughter, be diligent in writing down each phrase that I tell you about My mercy because they are intended for a large number of souls who will benefit from them. (Diary, 1142,,,,,,,,,,,, To this simple nun, without great studies, but courageous and totally abandoned in God, the Lord Jesus entrusted a great mission: the message of mercy addressed to everyone. “I send you – he said – to all humanity with My mercy. I do not want to punish suffering humanity, but I wish to heal it, to embrace it to My Merciful Heart (Diary, 1588). You are the secretary of My mercy; I have chosen you for this position, in this and in the future life (Diary, 1605), (……) so that you make known to souls the great mercy that I have for them, and that you invite them to trust in the abyss of My mercy” (Diary, 1567)……………………………

The image of Merciful Jesus. The outline of the image was revealed to Sister Faustina in the vision of February 22, 1931 in her cell in the convent of Plock. “At nightfall, while I was in my cell – she writes in the Diary – she saw the Lord Jesus dressed in a white tunic. He had one hand raised to bless and with the other he touched the tunic on his chest. From the opening of the tunic on his chest, two large rays came out: one red and the other pale. (…) After a moment, Jesus told me: Paint an image according to the model you see, and sign: Jesus, I trust in You (Diary 47). I want this image (…) to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter; that Sunday must be the Feast of Mercy” Diario, 49).
