The Hour of Mercy

 In October 1937, in circumstances little clarified by Sister Faustina, the Lord Jesus entrusted to worship the hour of her death: «As many times as you hear the clock giving the three, immerse yourself in My mercy, worship and glorify it; he pleads his omnipotence for the whole world and especially for the poor sinners, for at that time, he opened wide to every soul» (Journal, 1572).

The Lord Jesus quite clearly defined the very ways of praying of this form of worship of Divine Mercy.   «At that hour, he told Sister Faustina, try to pray the Via Crucis, as soon as your duties allow you; and if you can’t pray the Via Crucis         , at least enter the chapel for a moment and worship in the Blessed Sacrament My Heart that is full of mercy.  And if you cannot enter the chapel, immerse yourself in prayer wherever you are, even for a very brief moment» (Journal, 1572).
