Según Roberts, el Nuevo Banco de Desarrollo creado por los países BRICS puede ayudar a Grecia pagar la deuda. España, Italia, Irlanda y Portugal siguen de cerca con mucha atención la situación en Grecia, opina el analista. «Si estos países entienden que Europa no va a allanar sus dificultades, impuestas a ellos bajo la austeridad, se dirigirán a Rusia, a China y a la India, a los países de BRICS», opina Roberts.

«En ese caso estos países rechazarán tambien a Alemania, a Washington y al FMI, que les imponen privaciones y les roban. Como resultado puede ocurrir un verdadero desastre, si Occidente resulta tan estúpido y arrogante como para no hacer concesiones. Esto significaría el colapso de la Unión Europea y la OTAN«, explica el analista.
