Dear Mother General, I am sure that it is God’s holy will for me to carry out this work. Why did He call me, the most unworthy and sinful, so full of weakness, misery and sin? I do not know. I have no answer, except that his path is a mystery to me. I have prayed a lot for this reason, I have looked at it from all angles and the answer remains the same: leave everything and follow him even more deeply, in that life of complete dedication and immolation for him and for his poor. I know you will be worried about me, but please do not separate me from the path that He wants me to travel. If you were in India, if you saw what I have seen for so many years, your heart would also strongly desire that Our Lord be better known by the poor who suffer terribly on earth, and furthermore they will spend eternity in darkness afterwards, because there are no nuns to lend a helping hand in their own dark holes.
