THE CROWN TO THE DIVINE MERCY

 (to pray it with the beads of the rosary)

The crown to the Divine Mercy.  The Lord Jesus gave this prayer to Sister Faustina between 13 and 14 September 1935 in Vilnius, as a prayer to appease divine wrath (see Journal, 474 – 476).  The people who pray this crown offer God the Father «the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity» of Jesus Christ as a propitiation for their sins, the sins of their families, and those of the whole world.  By joining the sacrifice of Jesus, they appeal to this love with which God the Father loves His Son and He loves all people

At the beginning: Our Father, that you are in heaven, sanctified be thy name; come un unt your kingdom; thy will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us our daily bread today; forgive our offenses, just as we forgive those who offend us; do not let us fall into temptation, and deliver us from evil. amen.

 God save you, Mary, you are full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed You are among all women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Saint Mary, Mother of God, prays for us sinners, now and in the hour of our death. amen.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, the Soul and the Divinity of Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, as a propitiation of our sins and those of the whole world. In each count of the ten (10 times):
